ADHD ISN’T A DEATH SENTENCE, IN FACT IT’S WONDERFUL…

In medical books ADHD is described as a ‘disorder’.

Yet, what if it isn’t? What if it’s simply a difference and a brilliance.

It’s difficult to have a mind that’s never still.

Intense sensitivity and being constantly overwhelmed sensations can cause the prefrontal cortex to diminish. This is the same brain adjustment that happens to brains experiencing trauma. The result of both is a lack of attention and focus.

You can see that being sensitive and aware is traumatic. However, the effects can be alleviated, allowing the condition to display the many positives!

Society and life overwhelm most people at times. When one is extra sensitive, the effects are magnified.

With heightened sensory and emotional awareness, come extraordinary gifts and talents; an awareness of the beauty and potential of life, and incredible personality traits.

It enables you to see what’s great about you; it’s a guide to help you meet your potential, your passions, and to break through your struggles. It guides you to chill, regulate your life, and be happy.

MEDS OR NOT?

Some people say yes, others say no.

We are not medical professionals! Please seek the help of your medical doctor to discuss medication options. Meds do have their place.

We recognize that each person is different and unique, and here we look at innate, natural solutions.

ADHD is characterized by heightened sensitivity. This means living can be traumatic. It can be hard to keep up and take it all in without becoming overwhelmed.

Since ADHD runs in families, children often have brilliant, yet sensitive, and overwhelmed parents, who may self-medicate or find it difficult to attach or emotionally bond with their children. This, too, is traumatic

Meds work on the prefrontal cortex, which is diminished by trauma or ADHD, and they help with focus and attention. They can change the game, particularly if you’re living in chaos.

Here we aim to give you a big picture of what’s going on, so you have clarity and can identify the solutions that will transform lives.

YOU HAVE A CHOICE TO SEE THE POSITIVE OR THE NEGATIVE

It’s a choice to see heightened sensitivity to life as wonderful or terrible, a gift or a disorder.

Here, we give you a quick framework to celebrate ADHD; an understanding and quick solutions which take the fear out of the unknown.

In the old days, people with ADHD were perceived as hazy, crazy, or lazy.

Now ADHD is slightly better understood, yet most professionals insist upon offering a generic variety of solutions.

We look at the individual to learn who they are, and discover their unique needs, rather than throwing a bunch of generic solutions at a wall, and hoping some will stick. Everyone is different with unique gifts, talents, struggles, and sensitivities.

Once you have this clarity, the support, and resources you need, you can truly live.
